Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department organized AICTE sponsored two week Staff Development Programme on “Topics of Research in Electrical Engineering” duringMay 11 – 24, 2015. 33 external participants across our nation and 14 internal participants attended the programme. 17 external experts from leading Institutes and Industries and 7 local faculty delivered lecture on various topics. Industrial visits to Sri Hari Paper Mills, near Alangulam and Lovely Offset Printers Private Limited at Sivakasi were organized. Hands on experience on the simulation and analysis of electromagnetic and electromechanical transients in electric power systems through EMTP software, was given during the laboratory sessions.
